Job Title: Senior Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA ) Job
Reports To: Director
Position: Full Time
Job Description:
The BCBA job involves providing pediatric therapy in both clinical and home-based settings. The BCBA will provide comprehensive diagnostic services for clients, formulate & implement treatment plans, and collaborate with team members to address communication as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent from accredited university
- Current certification Behavior Analyst Certification Board for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) : Must be in possession of current certification on or before the first day of employment.
- CPR / First Aid certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Interpersonal Skills: Works well with others. Focuses on solving conflict; maintains confidentiality; listens to others without interrupting; operates well under pressure; remains open to others’ ideas and contributes to building a positive team spirit.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.. Ability to effectively present verbal information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, parents and other staff.
Experience:
- Experience working with children with disabilities. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is desired/preferred.
- No prior criminal history
